AND THEN.........MY BOY TURNS 6 :(

MY STUDLY LITTLE MAN!!
CHECK OUT THEM MUSCLES!! :]

Wyatt turned six in July. Time sure does fly. I know I say that every time my kids get a year older, but seriously, where does the time go?

(I am not exactly sure why these boys are not wearing their shirts. But boys will be boys right?!!) Does anyone remember this Creepy Crawler machine? The one that makes bugs? Well Wy had a friend bring his to daycare one day and Julia said it kept them entertained for HOURS. Wy came home that day and told me he wanted one. Since I had NO clue what to get him for his birthday, I decided we would get him that........that is if we could still find them. My sister had one when she was little. I didn't even know they still made them, but sure enough, Toys R Us. He also got some Tansformers and Chapps. You never know with this kid, one day it's all about sports and the next he is TOTAL cowboy!!!

Wyatt was really into soccer this year so I did a soccer cake and then some cupcakes. It was a fun day!!!
We are so blessed to have this kid in our lives. I do not know what we would do with out him. He definitley keeps us going. Happy Birthday Bud!! We LOVE you! :]

NEXT........FAMILY REUNION

FAMILY REUNIONS ARE GREAT!!!! Especially with family you haven't seen in a LONG time.

We had a reunion with my mom's side of the family. It was so much fun. We went to my aunts house who has a beautiful back yard and a pretty shallow ditch that runs behind her house. The kids had a BLAST!! Even Oakleigh enjoyed herself..........for the most part! She love the swings, and putting her feet in the water, and the ducks, but not so much floating in the tube. :(

The reunion started around noon. My kids were having so much fun with their cousins in the water they did not get out till 9:00 that night.

This is one of the many reasons I LOVE SUMMER!!

A MUCH NEEDED UPDATE........

Ok, so I am just going to start where I left off. So much has happened. We had a fun 4th of July as always. But this year was a little more relaxing and enjoyable. In the past we have had to be up early and to the Rexburg parade by 8:00 because Madi has usually danced in the parade. NOT this year!! The last couple of years it has been SO hot and the parade has been at least 2 hours long. That is too long for little girls to be on the hot road dancing.

So we got to sleep in!!! The night before we had a BBQ and went to the fireworks at the Lake with our good friends Jonah and Kasha and their girls, and Jory and Heidi and their girls. LOVE good friends!!! Then on the 4th we took our time getting ready and made our way to the festivities in Menan around noon.

We always go to the parade first. My kids LOVE to see their Grandpa ride through the parade! And this year their uncle Jason, my brother, was in it also.

After the parade we just walk around and let the kids play games and eat untill it is time to watch the fireworks. I love watching the Menan fireworks. No crowds and the show is GREAT!!!!
