ITS THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN!! :)

YES, we are still alive!! :) Things have been so crazy around our house lately. Our house is FINALLY done and I will post pics as soon as I take some!!
Madi had her first dance competition of the year last weekend at Bonneville High School. Friday night was solos, and she did AWESOME!!!! She got a SUPERIOR, the highest you can get!! I was SOOOO proud of her. Two of the judges were choreographers and dancers from the High School Musical movies. They told the girls after awards that they good get autographs and photos with them. And the girls went crazy!!

Saturday was the team competition. My camera was out of room so I didn't get any pics of these dances. But we will be going to Logan, UT at the end of the month for our next competition so I will post some then. Madis group got a SUPERIOR and HIGHEST POINT award. Infact, the team got SUPERIORS on ALL of their dances. It was a fun day.

OAKLEIGHS BIRTHDAY!

We thought that since our house is finally done it would be fun to have everyone over for Oakleighs birthday. So Sunday they all piled in. It was nice to be able to have everyone over and not wonder if we were all going to fit!! We had dinner and cake and ice cream.

Nana and Grandpa gave Oakleigh this little Cabbage Patch baby with a cute blanket and a couple of outfits. She loves babies. My sister just had a baby and Oakleigh just loves her. We will tell her to give Livvy kisses and she tips her head to the side and lays it on Livvy! It's sooooo cute!!! She does the same thing with her new little doll.

Bryan and I gave her this Rock N' Bounce pony. She LOVES it!! She can just sit in it and bounce.

I made a cake and then some cupcakes for the kids. I gave Oakleigh one of the cupcakes to dig into. She is a typical kid! She ate all of the M&M's and frosting, well.........most of the frosting! All but what was on her face!!!! :) And then.....leaves the cake.

AM I THE ONLY ONE???????

Bryan and I and Oakleigh took a trip to Utah last weekend. His sister and her husband blessed their baby. Since we hadn't been to Utah in almost a year we dicided it would be fun to go see the family down there. We stayed with Jason and Katie. This picture is of their 3 kids, Brady, Seth, and Corie and Oakleigh. They had so much fun with her.

(I don't normally stay in my p.j.s all day but the baby blessing wasn't until 4:00 on Saturday afternoon and I couldn't put that guitar down. I started out on the drums while Linda tried the guitar, but she wanted to trade after a couple of trys on the guitar. I actually thought the guitar was easier than the drums.)

Am I the ONLY one who has never, until last weekend that is, played this Guitar Hero on the Wii? YUPP!! I am ADDICTED!! We had SOOOOO much FUN! I have heard so many things about it, and seen it set up in the stores for people to try. But I have never done it. Infact, when we got there Friday night, Bryan and Jason played it forever. And then on Saturday, Bryan's mom and Marvin stopped by and they talked Linda into playing it but Marvin didn't want to so I played with her. They couldn't get us off of it. We would play a song and wouldn't move to a new one til we got through the one with out getting booed off. I want it!! But I can't!! I know that if I had that in my house, nothing would ever get done. Course, my house would never be a mess either cuz the only thing the kids would play with is this!!! :)

It has been so long since I posted an update on our house that I had to go back and see what the last pictures were that I posted. Here are just a few pics. to show you how things are going. I didn't get this picture flipped before I posted it, sorry. But this is my new fire place.

This is also another favorite, my bay window. I just love the look that it adds to the room.

They are just finishing the painting in the bedrooms and they are almost finished installing my cabinets so I will have those pictures as soon as they are done.
