This is one of the things that the grandkids LOVE to do at Nana and Grandpa's house. Sunday was no different. The dishes get cleaned up from Sunday dinner and out comes the play dough.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY OAKI ;)
Where does the time go? Oakliegh turned 2 last Friday. We had such a FULL weekend that we ended up celebrating her Birthday on Sunday.
She got some REALLY fun things. She got a fun little alphabet puzzle from the Close's. I was SUPER excited for that because we have been working with her on her ABC's. It's fun to watch her match the letters!! She also got a little shopping cart to go with the kitchen set she got for christmas. She pushes that thing everywhere. She got some bubbles, lip gloss, a purse and a stuffed dog from her brothers and sisters. She got some money from Chelsea and Kenzie. And Jason and Lindsey gave her a little remote control My Little Pony on a scooter. So fun!!
And her dad's favorite.......her little John Deer pink cowgirl boots!! He found these and couldn't pass them up!!! She LOVES them!! She wears them everywear. She even wants to wear them to bed!! ;)

She is quite the little girl!! She is all over everything, climbing and jumping. So we call her our little monkey!! And.....this was my attempt at a monkey cake!! Not bad I guess!!
Thank you to all of our family and friends that were there to share this happy day with us. And to those who weren't able to make it, we missed you!!
We are so lucky to have such a sweet happy little girl. She keeps us going and is always making us laugh!! We couldn't imagine our lives with out her!! We love you monkey girl!! ;)

A WEEKEND OF FUN!! ;)
We had a GREAT weekend. Madi had to dance Friday night in Ashton. We have some friends that live there and they invited us to come stay with them. They met us at the game and we watched Madi perform. After we went back to their house and Lindsey and the kids made cupcakes for Oakleigh for her birthday. She turned 2 on Friday.
It was getting late, and she was getting tired. We were trying to get her to blow out her candles.

Saturday morning we got up and had a YUMMY breakfast and then we went and watched Bridger and Bailey play basketball.
Then we decided to take the kids sledding. Lindsey had seen this really fun hill so we drove over to it, dressed the kids and let them go. Oakleigh was super tired so she spent most of the time asleep in the car. But the kids had a BLAST. Actually, I think us parents had as much fun as the kids did!!
Wyatt LOVED it!! He kept going up and down, up and down. The hill wasn't that steep, so we would just hike back up, and go right back down. And is was such a nice day. The sun was out and it was really pretty warm.
Randy, Lindsey and Bridger getting ready to head down the hill!!
And this is how they ended up at the bottom!! CRASH!! ;)
Madi and Bailey!! These two are inseperable!! They used to dance together, but Bailey decided this year she wanted to try some other things so we don't get to see them as regular as we used to.
We kept trying to get Oakleigh to have a ride and she freaked every time!! Maybe next time right?!! ;)
After we went sleddin we decided to go get a burger at Big Juds. It was super yummy. I haven't eat there since I was in high school. Yes, I know, that has been FOREVER!!!
