So I can't remember the last time that we had a Memorial Day that it did NOT rain. And this year the weather man was predicting no different. So since it was nice and sunny Sunday, atleast for a little while, we decided after church to run down to the Blackfoot cemetary. On our way down, Bryan was visiting with the kids about Memorial Day, and what it was all about. He asked the kids to share something about someone that they new who had passed away. We started with Madi and she talked about Grandma Shorty, my dad's mom. Then Morgan talked about her great grandpa on her mom's side, and Paden shared some stories that he had heard about Grandpa Stan, Bryan's dad. It was neat to listen to the kids talk about all of these stories that they have heard about their grandparents.
And then it was Wyatt's turn. He sat there for a minute in silence, and I thought about helping him with something because he didn't know anyone....or so I thought. All of a sudden he says "President Hinkley," and I wanted to cry. Even I hadn't thought of that. I was so proud of him. We visited with him for a minute about the wonderful man that President Hinkley was and about the amazing work that he did and all of the temples that he built.
Monday it RAINED!! Big surprise. But we went out in it anyway. We took flowers to the cemetaries in Rigby where my grandparents are.

I wondered if you guys went to the cemetary in Blackfoot. We didn't make it. It was our anniversary on Sunday. You guys look so cute in your Sunday clothes. Oh, and your blog looks really cute too.
Maddie got a haircut! It is so cute!
How nice. Your kids are so cute. I can't believe your daughter is nine. I remember her being just a baby/toddler - and it seems like it was just a couple of years ago. Time flies
