TETON DAM MARATHON

I survived my 1st ever 5K run!!
Back in January my good friend Heidi called and asked me if I would like to run a 5K with her. I told her yes! I wasn't sure what I was getting myself into. I had never been a distance runner. In high school I ran track, but I just did sprints. Last summer Heidi and I would get out about 4 days a week and do intervals, but the furthest we ran at a time was maybe a 1/2 mile, then we would walk, then run again.
But I was excited. I knew I had A LOT of work to do, but the thought of doing something for ME got me excited and motivated!! I started training in January and thought I was going to DIE!! It took me over 42 minutes to do a 5K, which is 3.1 miles. But the more I did it the faster I got!!

Getting ready to start......
Us after we finished!! The weather was perfect for a run!! Not to hot, and not to cold!!

My cousin Mike did the 5K too!!

Heidi and I sporting our GORGEOUS race shirts and our medals!!
I had been running the course for a couple of months just so I knew what I was up against. The first 2 miles were up hill and the last was on a decline!! My best time before the race was just over 35 minutes. This run was AWESOME!! I finished in 32 minutes and 12 seconds!! A record for me!! I had so much energy and addrenaline!! I was on such a high when I finished that I wanted to go do it again!!
It's true what they say, Running is addicting!! I had so much fun with this 5K that have registered for 3 more this summer!! And I still might do another one!!

Running is addicting? HA!!! Just kidding. You'll be proud to know that after about six months I have started running again. I still don't enjoy it, and I wouldn't say it's addicting, but It's good for me. Way to go on your race. Good luck on the next ones.

That's so cool about your 5k! And your time was awesome! Be glad you didn't do the Idaho Falls one... it was cold and windy! It was still fun, but could have been a lot better with nicer weather!

You are going to pay attention to a lady friend who is voluntary to strain by her replica handbags wardrobe to obtain an art object from many months back that she all the same truly likes. Sound out what you wish on louis vuitton , but I reckon they would be authentically amusing persons. And I believe to do some shopping with louis vuitton handbags must have a lot of fun or to chat with them at a coffee shop. louis vuitton bags appear to enjoy a fresh handbag as the exuberance that we own the way I like for on the famous persons.
