SUMMER LOVIN!
(Wyatt on the slide at the Splash Park in Rexburg)
WOW!! Where has the summer gone?! I can not beleive that it is already the end of July. School will be starting in less than a month.

Every summer my kids go with their dad for six weeks and so I normally wouldn't get to see them very often. But this summer was different. Last year I changed my work schedule so that I could be home when the kids got home from school.
(Oakleigh gettin a tan!! Isn't she so cute!! =)
And this summer it has given us a chance to do more things. Since I get off of work at 2:00 I go pick up the kids at daycare and we go play.

We have gone to see a few movies, spent some time at the lake. And since we have soccer games in Rexburg every Tuesday and Thursday nights we have spent A TON of time at the spray park up there.
We have had so much fun spending time with friends and family this summer. There are still so many things that we want to do.

What Do You Remember About US? TAG
K, so I have never done a TAG on my blog before but this one looked fun so I am going to give it a shot. Leave a memory that you have had with either me or Bryan and then do this on your blog so that we can leave a memory about you!
DIRECTIONS:
1. As a comment on my blog, leave a memory that you and I had together. Anything at all!
2. Then repost these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you.

THE 4TH cont......
(Oakleigh was a little more excited about getting her beauty sleep than watching the parade!!)
After the parade in Rexburg, we hurried back to Menan so we could watch the parade that they have out there every year on the 4th. My dad is always in the Menan parade. He either rides in one of the patrol cars or rides his horse. The kids always get excited to see him so we make sure we are there for that.
After the parade we walked over to the park and enjoyed some food and fun. It was such a warm day, my kids were glad to have the water games. Wyatt absolutely loved this water slide. All he wanted was and all day pass so that he could slide all day.
We love spending the day in Menan for the 4th. We set up a canopy with our blankets and lawn chairs and park it for the day and wait for the FIREWORKS! The kids run around, play frisbee, or baseball. They have food booths and fun things to walk around and look at.

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!
I know that this post is a little belated, but things have been super crazy at our house the last couple of weeks. I love the 4th of July. It is one of my most favorite holidays. This year we went to the fireworks celebration that they have on the 3rd of July at Rigby Lake. It was fun, they did a good job!
Then on the 4th, we are up early and in Rexburg for the parade that they have up there. The girls dance in the Rexburg parade every year so we head up there for that in the morning. This year I was not impressed. The girls did a really good job dancing but the parade was so long. It took two hours for them to get through the whole thing.
Wyatt loves to wave to everyone and catch the candy. This year he only lasted for maybe 3/4 of the parade. It just got too hot and too long that by about the last half hour all he wanted to do was sit.

10 YEARS ALREADY!!!
(Me, Oakleigh, Kristin, and Ashlynn)
Saturday was a crazy busy day!!! I had my 10 year class reunion. We had so much going on that day that at first I wasn't planning to even go. But there were a few people that I hadn't seen in a long time so I decided I would stop by for a few minutes and quickly say HI. So Bryan and I stopped and said HI to Kristin and her husband Jay, and I got to meet their adorable little girl Ashlynn. I have not seen Kristin for about 5 years, it was so great to see her. She talked me into going with her to say hello to a few other friends. I ended up staying for an hour and a half.

It was so fun to see everyone. Kristin, thank you for asking me to stay. I am so glad that I did.
FAMILY REUNION
We had the McDaniel Family Reunion, Bryan's dad's side, on Saturday. We get together every year at Tauphus Park and have lunch and play games and visit. It is really sad that we all live so close to each other and we see each other only once a year. But it was fun to get to visit with everyone and see how things have changed since last year. Grandma McDaniel got 3 new great grand-babies since our last reunion. The one picture is of two of those new babe's, Oakleigh and Seth. Seth was born on the 4th of February and Oakleigh on the 5th of February.
